As a lifeguard, you'll be responsible for ensuring the safety of our members and guests. students working for Deep River Waterpark/Lake County Parks & Recreation can enjoy competitive pay and lots of fun. As a lifeguard, you must possess the following skills:
Comfortable in and around open water with basic knowledge of safety considerations
Able to work in deep water and use watercraft such as a surfboard, paddleboard, or kayak
Pass lifeguard prerequisite exam, including a 550-meter swim and 2 minutes of treading water without hands
Experience working with or teaching children is preferred
Red Cross Certification or WSI certification preferred but not required
Must be 18+ years old
